On December 15th, 2009, TPG sponsored what we anticipate to be the first of several symposiums. Sustainable transportation was the topic of the inaugural symposium, with topics including signal synchronization, parking management, trails and road diets. In addition, TPG received an Award of Excellence from the California Chapter American Planning Association (CCAPA) - Central Section, taking first place honors in the Focused Issue Planning category for their preparation of the Cross County Path Plan for the Kings County Association of Governments. TPG has also earned a 2008 Best of Visalia Award in the consulting category by the U.S. Local Business Association, as well as a Business & Children Award from the Tulare County Child Care Policy Council.
